Welcome to 5th Ms. Stevenson's "VIP Stars"

It is...

...a great day to learn!

...a great moment to explore!

...a great opportunity to discover!

...a great chance to try something different,

and learn something new!

I am thrilled to be apart of the Ridgeland Elementary School family as a 5th grade teacher. It is a privilege to work with such a dedicated group of students, teachers, and parents.  Thank you in advance for all your hard work, support, and commitment to making Ridgeland Elementary a school of excellence. "Where Our Classroom is the Focus!"

I hope to get to know each of you this year and I want you to have a chance to know me.

My Teaching Philosophy is I believe every student is capable of learning something if given the chance. We all have our own unique learning styles.  It is my privilege to see that students are given the opportunity to be educationally challenged to their fullest capabilities. I want to create a positive learning environment that will foster creativity and encourage independence as well as teach responsibility and manners.

Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s 5th grade experience at Ridgeland Elementary School.

Thank you!

Ms. Stevenson
