Our teachers successfully submitted grant proposals to the Palmetto Electric Cooperative's 2024 Bright Ideas Grant Competition.

Palmetto Electric awarded nearly $40,000 this year to grant submitters from Beaufort, Jasper and Hampton Counties.

Scholars, faculty, and staff had the pleasure of welcoming honored guests to our school to commemorate the service of all who have served our nation in the armed forces. We are grateful for their sacrifices. Our esteemed visiting veterans were both graduates of Jasper County Schools. We thank them for giving their time, as they certainly inspired everyone who heard them speak.

In the lead-up to local and national elections, our scholars held their own election. Kindergarteners at Ridgeland Elementary School used their unique expertise to determine their grade’s favorite cookie: Oreo vs. Chocolate Chip. Oreo WINS!
