Pratt Library in Ridgeland

Did you know that you can do more than just check out books from the Pratt Memorial Library?  There's no need to pay for Red Box movies when you can go get them for free from your local library.  If you have a library card, you can also access the online features such as TumbleBooks.  If you haven't checked out the Pratt Library recently, please make a trip there.

Family Turkey Projects

Our Family Turkey Projects have been sent home and will be due on November 12, 2018.  Please write a sentence or two about your turkey to describe how it is disguised.

Community Helper Visit scheduled for Monday 11/5

Members of the Jasper County EMS, Fire and Rescue, and employees of Coastal Electric will be bringing their vehicles to school on Monday, November 5, 2018.  We will learn how the vehicles are used and what equipment is stored on the vehicles that the workers use.  We are excited to see what new things we learn about our community helpers!

Successful Field Trip!

We had a very successful field trip on Friday, November 2, 2018.  We toured our community and learned a lot about what it takes to run a grocery store and a post office.  We discovered what fun things the Library and the Morris Center have to offer, too.  The day was completed with a picnic in the park.  Please check out the photos in the photo album!

November Family Turkey projects are due November 12.  Please disguise your turkey so that the farmer will not recognize it on Thanksgiving.  Write a sentence or two describing your turkey's disguise!
