Greetings RES Family,
As principal of Ridgeland Elementary School, I plan to continue to bestow a great deal of time, thoughtfulness, support, and intellect upon the students, staff members, and parents. This is a position that is not to be taken lightly. With minimal changes and some additional structures in place, all stakeholders can look forward to another awesome year of effective teaching and continuous learning at Ridgeland Elementary School!!
Knowing the importance of a good education, I have attended several schools: South Carolina State University – Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Grand Canyon University – Masters of Arts in Teaching, Converse College – Gifted and Talented Endorsement, Northcentral University – Master of Education in Educational Leadership, Grand Canyon University – Masters of Education in Education Administration.
I have ten years of teaching experience (second, fourth, & fifth-grade levels); worked as a Numeracy Coach for two years and effectively labored as a principal for four years. Throughout my career, I have earned numerous awards and completed several programs: Teacher of the Year (twice), Leadership Academy Participant, Principal Induction Program, Honorary Member of the Junior National Young Leaders Conference, iLead (SCASA Leadership Training) & Palmetto Silver Award Winning School.
I am truly grateful to serve such a wonderful learning community that is striving to achieve excellence.
