The Jasper County School District is pleased to announce that its Summer Feeding Program will begin June 8, 2020 thru July 27, 2020.
The Jasper County School District and Chartwells, the district’s contracted food service provider, teams up to provide pre-packaged meals (see picture below) this summer. The Summer Feeding Program will provide seven (7) free nutritious breakfasts and seven (7) lunches; totaling 14 meals per week, to children 18 years of age or younger during summer vacation periods (June 8 – July 27, 2020).
Each box of pre-packaged meals will include a menu and directions for preparation.
The following delivery dates have been established:
June 8, 2020 June 15, 2020 June 22, 2020 June 29, 2020
July 13, 2020 July 20, 2020 July 27, 2020
Delivery locations will be limited, but will be forthcoming with approximate times.
