Greetings Parents, Guardians and New First Graders,
 
I want to welcome you to first grade for the 2023-2024 school year. I am looking forward to working with you and your child this school year.  Students will be learning math (i-ready/RCD), phonics, reading & writing (Open Court), shared reading, learning sight words to help them read their leveled books and social studies and science.  It is important that your child read at least 20 minutes a night (a book, magazine, newspaper or even the signs while you are riding).  Please check back here regularly to stay updated on important information for class and school. I will also keep you posted with important dates through this website, our homework calendars and Class tag messages. We will also communicate through the student agendas.  Any notes should be placed in the take home folder, agenda or you can send a remind me message.
