Dear RES Family,
It is with great pride and excitement to serve as one of the Assistant Principals of Ridgeland Elementary School. I am truly honored to be in this position and I am looking forward to assisting Mrs. Green (Principal) and Mrs. Scott (Assistant Principal) in making this a great school year. I truly believe that Ridgeland is "A Great Place to Learn" because “Teachers are effectively teaching and students are continuously learning!”
My professional career includes working with elementary students. Prior to my coming to Ridgeland Elementary, I taught and was an administrative intern for Bamberg School District Two and Denmark-Olar Elementary School. I also founded and directed an all-boy (grades 3-5) mentor program, My Brother’s Keepers.
I am very fortunate to have the support of an amazing team here at Ridgeland Elementary School and an accepting, supportive community. Together the Ridgeland Elementary team and the community build a foundation to enable each student to succeed.
I earned a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Claflin University (Call Me MISTER), a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Trident University International, a Principal Certification from Lamar University and currently I am pursuing my doctorate in Educational Leadership from Northcentral University.
I look forward to meeting all of you as the school year progresses. Please contact me with any questions or concerns.
