About Me

Hello!  I just wanted to tell you a little about myself.  

 

I have lived in this area for over 20 years.  I have a 4 children, a 25 year old and 21 year old son, and two daughters ages 9 and 5.  I also have two cats and two dogs.  My house is never quiet!  :)  When I do find time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends.

 

This year will be my 26th year of teaching.  I have taught kindergarten and first grade.  I was in the Master Teacher of Technology program for three years.  I will use technology when appropriate to enhance the learning process.  I am looking forward to researching ways to introduce new learning experiences using technology.  

 

I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education at Cameron University in Lawton, OK.  I received my Masters in Literacy through Walden University.  I just finished my Eds. in Educational Technology also through Walden University.  Each year I participate in professional development to enhance my skills in language arts, math, and science instruction.  I also look for ways to improve my classroom management and communication skills.
